About the National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association
Founded in 2004, the National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association (NUSHKBA) is a nonprofit trade association that serves as the national organization for Hong Kong Business Associations across the United States. Today, NUSHKBA brings together 12 member associations representing more than 2,600 business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals committed to strengthening commercial, economic, and cultural ties between the United States, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area.
By connecting local business communities through a unified national network and global partnerships, NUSHKBA creates opportunities for collaboration, business development, trade promotion, and international engagement.
Our Mission
NUSHKBA's mission is to strengthen and support its member organizations while advancing business and trade relationships between the United States, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area. As the national voice of its member associations, NUSHKBA fosters collaboration, facilitates the exchange of ideas, promotes new business opportunities, and connects members with government, trade, and industry leaders.
Through networking, educational programs, strategic partnerships, and business introductions, NUSHKBA helps members build meaningful relationships, explore international markets, and contribute to stronger economic ties between the United States and Hong Kong.
Our Impact
Local Connections
NUSHKBA's strength begins with its member associations. Each chapter serves its local business community by bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and organizations through networking events, educational programs, cultural initiatives, and business development opportunities. These local associations create meaningful relationships while supporting companies interested in expanding their connections with Hong Kong and Asia.
National Collaboration
As the national organization for 12 Hong Kong Business Associations across the United States, NUSHKBA unites local chapters into a powerful national network. The Association promotes collaboration among member organizations, shares resources and best practices, supports the development of new chapters, and represents the collective interests of its members at the national level.
NUSHKBA also serves as a trusted resource for facilitating introductions, encouraging the exchange of business ideas, promoting trade and investment opportunities, and strengthening relationships between the U.S. and Hong Kong business communities.
Global Reach
NUSHKBA's impact extends well beyond the United States through its membership in the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide (FHKBAW). This relationship connects member associations to an international network of Hong Kong Business Associations spanning more than 30 countries and regions, creating opportunities for global collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-border business development.
Through this worldwide network, members gain access to international business leaders, trade programs, investment opportunities, government and industry connections, and a broader community dedicated to strengthening Hong Kong's role as a global center for commerce, finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
A Network That Creates Opportunity
Whether members are seeking to expand into new markets, build strategic partnerships, participate in international trade initiatives, or connect with business leaders across the United States and around the world, NUSHKBA provides the relationships and resources to help make those opportunities possible.
From local chapter events to national collaboration and international engagement through the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, NUSHKBA serves as a gateway to a connected business community that spans cities, states, and continents.
Together, our member associations are building stronger business relationships, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities that strengthen economic ties between the United States, Hong Kong, and the global marketplace.
